So, after getting into all the magic mods that Direwolf20 had, I was wondering if MyM could make a modpack completely centered around a magic modpack. It could contain very little tech mods of course to help with sorting and whatnot, but it should be focused way more on using magic mods to progress through the pack. Some ideas I had were: Thaumcraft Botania Bloodmagic Ars Magica 2 Witchery Any add-ons that make these mods have more content Applied Energistics 2 Shape Shifter Open Blocks Tinkers Construct Now these were just some of the mods that I could think of, I know that there are many many more that could be included in this pack. Another cool idea would be the use of Towny or Factions to make this modpack more interesting.
Civilization has most of these mods. If you want a magic based modpack you can also play Regrowth or Hypovolemia. Regrowth is based heavily on Botania and Agricraft, but also uses Thaumcraft, Bloodmagic, Witchery. Hypo is based heavily around Bloodmagic, but also introduces TC, Witchery and Botania. Then we have Thaumic Skies which is based on Thaumcraft and has like 2 more pages of addons in the Thaumonomicon. Someone also suggested Simple Magic as a modpack, which probably would fit best. Not sure why we need another custom modpack here. P.S. I start to sound like @chugga_fan
ye to be fair you are basicly describing civ come give civ a try see what u think were always after new players theres pvp and a great community and many magic mods and planning to add a couple new thaum addons next version
