I have searched extensively for bats and not one has spawned while on the server. I can go into a single-player world and I can find a bat almost instantly. I have looked in the Beneath, made a dark room below layer 60 and have had no luck in the hours of searching. Is bat spawning disabled on this server and if so is there another way for me to capture a bat?
Hi there JSaomreas, This is an ongoing problem with skyfactories I believe, where bats are incredibly rare. See this old thread <- The best that can be done is to tell you to go to the beneath and just look, it may take a while, but I suggest when you do find one to capture it to make a spawner. Make sure to try to kill mobs that may be in the area, as there is a limit on how many monsters can be in one area at a time. Eventually a bat should spawn.
