    the world files are like 10-20 gigs in size, no matter how fast your driver writes/reads it isn't going to do that many gigs instantly

    well i guess they dont have it running raid like my pc's startup drive so the spped isent combined[DOUBLEPOST=1442690317][/DOUBLEPOST]
    that makes more sence oh and chugga worlds arnt 10 gig files

    it doesn't matter, there is no driver that i know of that can write/read 10-20 gig files instantly, there just isn't

    i'm fairly certain supercomputers can't write that fast, there usually just isn't any need for it, that's why
    *here you go, top 12 read/write speeds* 12 RAM Disk Software Benchmarked for Fastest Read and Write Speed • Raymond.CC yes these are some REALLY fast disks, but either way these things are probably ridiculously expensive, so the server probably isn't using them
