Foxymahp contacted us regarding him not being able to make a thaumium tinker's construct tool part. I went over to look. The thaumium items are not made through smeltery, they are made through the part builder. He had plenty of thaumium ingots for the item, it was in the part builder. I switched out several patterns and none of the items could be crafted. @Krhymez Got any ideas on this?
This; if you hover over a pattern it will tell you what materials you can use (may need to press shift to see)
Ah, wasn't showing me the whole list, so as it's normally one of the available options, I wasn't sure. Now it's more like... Why isn't thaumium on the list?
During testing, my testers helped me balance Iguana Tweaks. It was either lose the ability to change parts, or lose Paper, Magical wood and thaumium. My testers decided that keeping the changing parts was the better option. The reason. With Iguana tweaks you get 5 "Free" random modifiers, 3 "empty" modifiers. Then you can add the 3 from nether star, god apple...ect. That is 11 modifiers. I also added 1 random and 1 empty to anyone that levels it to 99. We found that we could just make a tool of all Paper, use the modfers, then change all the parts and keep the modifiers. Would it be better the other way around? No changing tool parts, but to have those 3 types?
Your reasons make perfect sense to me. It's been a while since I've played on a pack that allows both part switching and the leveling of tools.
