I invite all mods/admins/... to use a portal to the outer lands. The things you will see there! So in other words it doesn't work at all. It teleports us underground and messes with block textures. I recorded it so I'll try to post a link to the footage here soon.
I was with CommonExplosion in game, and can verify that the portal does not work. I have also tried it in SP, and it works there. The problem is that we are sent to the same area, just a couple of blocks down, in the same dimension, but there are ghost blocks and wrong textures everywhere.
In thaum configs, make sure Code: B:allow_cheat_sheet=false is set to True. In SP, get the cheat sheet, and right click to get the needed research to do this. Locate an eldritch altar Place 4 Eldritch eyes into the bottom part of the middle structure, 1 on each side. Use a fully charged Silverwood wand or better, to rightclick the bottom part. If done successfully, the node in the middle should become more like a black hole. Walk into the hole, and you should be teleported into the Outer Lands.

sometimes the portal doesn't link to a dungeon, in that case use bound armor with a void sigil in it and an air sigil, make SURE to have lots of LP stored
