I've been really dis-satisfied on how many people play on the pokemon server and just wanted to shout at everybody that there IS a "pixelmon" server that you can play on 24/7, I really hope we could get some new stuff on the pixelmon modpack like an update in all the mods etc. I know we cant add more mods because pixelmon devs aint nice but it'd be nice if we could get some more updates and a more lively server
Firstly its nice to see that some people are interested in packs that are older and have a lower player base First of all pixelmon needs an update as the mod itself is behind the latest of pxelmon Secondly there was talk of Gyms being added before and from what ive seen their are basic ones? but need to add more like 1 for every badge (18 badges if i remember) Thirdly some vote rewards such as vote keys that allow you to get rewards spnning from ledgendary pokemon to normal pokeballs giving reasond to vote Fourthly it needs something to entice players in as pixelmon is a very basic pack (<20 mods) Here if you need anything
I personally would love to see the pixelmon server get a revamp. First thing I would like to see is that you only need pixelmon to be able to play on the server. That way people don't need to use the mym launcher or find the other mods to be able to play. Second thing I would love to see is a world made that you would go through in adventure mode. In this world there would be cities, paths, gyms etc. That way there is something that you can actually work towards. But there still would be the regular world that you could build a house or find Pokemon. I get this 2nd idea would be a lot of work but in my opinion it would make our pixelmon server a bit more unique, and would give people a lot more to do and make more people play.
I am not sure how many people use it, but I did spend a long while building a safari zone. I for one would hate to see it vanish from a world wipe. However, we could gather players to work on cities... I was actually building a to scale viridian city in the past ( not sure if it was the world before this one or another server lol)
last i knew we are on the latest version we can have due to the newer ones being 1.8 based. Has that changed? If not it wont happen
