From what other players on the Kappa server are saying, private portal guns are banned. However I haven't seen anything to say so, it's not disabled in the crafting and all I have is their word on it. Wanted to check that adding a porkchop to my portal gun won't get me in trouble. Only reason I ask is, what use is having a portal gun that I can't always have set to where I want to go? Just moments ago it let me out over the void someone purposefully set it up to drop random people into the void from what I can tell. So if I can't make it private in any way, am I basically just tossing it away?
i think private portal guns are banned because of their ability to move blocks, also if you make it , it will just vanish.
If you make your portal gun private it will get removed from your inventory. As each portal loads the chunk 24/7 we can't allow private portal guns.
