With the issues of the portal at spawn breaking fairly often so people can't get to The End until it gets fixed, would it be possible to implement the ability for us to make the portal at our own islands(put a sign under the portal, with the word 'portal' on it(like on Regrowth server)) or re-enable the ender cake?
The issue is that the world where your island is is not the overworld so the nether portal and ender cake doesn't work in this world. What's the issue with the portal at the spawn?
it just stops working, so people can't use it to get to The End. Its fixed again as @immaZebrah just fixed it...a fews days back MrWisski fixed it as well. Not sure why it breaks though, have to ask them what they did to fix it.
Just tested, portal requires replacement of the sign after every restart. Minutes before the restart, portal worked, seconds after, not working.
