Hey, I was looking through dimlets because RFtools seems to have a really cool system on dimensions, and was wondering if it was at all possible to re-enable them in direwolf20.

The average dimlet as a super low maintenance cost, and so it could be increased to a ridiculous amount of power to prevent dimension spamming. Maybe multiply every cost by 150x? Then remove the dimlet that reduces dimension cost, and set every maintain cost to atleast 100k rf/t. Perhaps change the recipes to reflect a larger cost, such as dimlet circuits costing Octuple Cobblestone and nether stars?

That seems ridiculous, I'm sure, but it'd give players a reason to upgrade their energy systems. As stands, players can run off of one 64x lava generator for such a long time that we really have no motive to upgrade. It'd give endgame players a new task to work for, and mid-game players something to start preparing for.

I'm not sure how that'd work with other servers, but for Direwolf20 where we have very few high tier energy generators, it'd be a perfect little endgame to work on.

There is a reason why we pregen all worlds. Thats also the reason why dimension creation is not allowed.

Yes a single new world would already lag the server. :(
