i recently purchased the donation package for radio station cards - it worked for a couple of days and then nada. Matter of fact, i don't here anything at spawn anymore either on B2. Yes, i checked my sound settings and everything is good. When i pop in a station card, it starts making the "searching for radio station sound" then goes blank. Was it banned or something .. ?? Just curious - not totally distraught over it, but it would be nice. Thank you for any help.
I believe it has to do with the update that got pushed through B-Team. It may have, or most likely, messed up the radio. We'll have to wait for a Admin to fix this bug. Though I do miss going to spawn and listening to the music while I shop
They moved Open block radios to is own stand alone mod that is client side. its called: NotEnoughCodecs You will need to download and add it to your mods folder. then edit it and add the stations you want. The only way other players can hear your music is if they have the same stations in there config. you can get the stand alone mod here at the open block Github, here is a direct link to the download: https://github.com/OpenMods/NotEnoughCodecs/archive/master.zip you might need to look up how to download and edit the configs. its really not that hard. also i get all my stations here: SHOUTcast Radio - Listen to Free Online Radio Stations my favorite is: ShoutCast Player
You don't need to add the stations, you only need to download the NotEnoughCodecs mod and add it to your mods folder. I will add this soon to the mym launcher. You can download it also from here: OpenMods
