Done Removing corruption(maybe?)

I recently made a post about the world message corruption effect, there's currently a exploit I've found with the mod. (I made a post about this a loooooong time ago on AG2) The corruption effect from sanguimancy can be disabled in the configs(I'll edit this post with the config setting when I get home from school) and it isn't required to progress if you create custom recipes for the items that require corruption. When you gain a certain amount of corruption you'll have evil chickens spawn at your feat and you'll take random damage(this is the one that creates the exploit) it will knock you around and do one heart of damage and it will then reset your afk timer.

I find this to be very bad because all you need to do is setup one drill of the dead and you'll start getting A LOT of corruption.

Feel free to find the config while I'm at school but if you can't, I'll find it when I get home

Do not close it yet. Will there be crafting recipes for the items that require corruption to be crafting?

No, there's a item you need to have in your inventory and it will look at your corruption level and then upgrade the item in your inventory (fake example: corruption gem( I don't know the actual name for it) in your inventory while have 50 corruption and holding stone will turn the stone into corrupted stone) and it will give you whatever item it can create

The mechanic is called corrupted infusion and the item I believe is called a corrupted infusion stone.

Create recipes that involve the infusion stone but the recipe doesn't use the stone?[DOUBLEPOST=1458670436][/DOUBLEPOST]but make each crafting recipe involve something from each tier of corrupted infusion

wait but the corruption toolset requires corruption to use at all and it is one of the best toolsets if you have enough corruption
if you remove corruption it will be useless.

 

You can make it so the tools cost zero corruption in the configs

 

But the tools have different capability so depending on how much corruption you have

And also corruption does have some useful effects like if you get enough it will give you random buffs like regen and speed

 

When the corruption requirement is set to zero the tools will be set at the highest level basically
