Hey I resently joined the server and wonder how world reset will be done and when. In a few older server i playd at the reset stripped us of all our things/building and with a 2 month ish interval between em. therefore i wondered if there was any possibility of having main buildings moved to new server or if you will start fresh everytime and also what time it goes between. Reason i ask is that i like to build large and spending alot of time on that. losing it all every 2 month is gamebreaking for me. thanks for info
Servers usually don't reset for ~6 months but sometimes even longer. Dimensions that have harvestable resources usually get reset every month so everyone had a chance to get some. The end resets every week. Certain dimensions like the spectre dimension don't reset. If a server does happen to reset then it will probably be a hard reset and no items will be transferred over to the new world. DW20 N2 probably still has a lot of time until a reset but nobody is really certain of when a reset could happen.

We also have a WorldDownloader (run from /wd) that lets you download your base to a single-player world; It is quite perfect when there is a reset about to happen, but you want to keep your base for own use. Of course we do not offer the ability to move said file unto the new server. You can however get Schematica, a client-side only mod, that saves pre-reset base to a schematic on your pc, then view a 3d ghost-blueprint of it on the new server. (Coupled with Schematica's printer function (places blocks from your inventory) you can quite quickly rebuild your base)
