About a week ago i ran into a hungry node which of course for the average player always ends badly. After several deaths and some help from another player we eventually took out the node and i was able to retrieve my stuff, however when i went to find my original grave i discovered that it either hadn't actually spawned, or was replaced by another grave on the same spot. The items aren't all that important to me i have moved on but i am curious as to why the grave disappeared. sincerely, metalobism
Hungry nodes feeds on every block on is surroundings so as you can guess the node actually eat the entire grave
interesting, does it only eat blocks at random because the other two deaths that it caused the graves still spawned?
yea it does but its not recommended to do anything until does nodes are death but here is a tip does nodes are really special and people would do almost anything for it Including me
i really recommend to keep it where it is feed it and then do a piston thing where piston push glass to it and i am sure it will catch it
I know the answer will probably be no but i lost a demon wings ring in that whole escapade. I ended up using our only nether star to make it only for it to disappear with my grave. is there any way i can get it back?

cover it in obsidian then equal trade it for glass then put the slabs on, boom then you're done, nice hungry node for a SUPER transduced CV node
