Are you eager to invest more of your time in supporting the MyM community? If you're seeking to dedicate more of your efforts to assisting players while gaining invaluable experience in the world of Modded Minecraft and its vibrant community, this is the next step for you. This role demands a greater commitment of your free time, diverting it from gameplay to focus on added responsibilities and heightened accountability. However, if you aspire to progress into a position of authority within MyM, this is the path forward.

    Responsibilities:

    General:
    • Continuously address all ticket-related issues within the scope of your permissions.
    • Direct tickets appropriately if beyond your capacity (promptly and directly).
    • Escalate matters outside your expertise to Administrators or Managers.
    • Vigilantly moderate forums, Discord, and in-game chat to promptly address any concerns.
    • Be an active presence across all MYM platforms, engaging with the community, forging relationships with staff, and players.
    • Represent the MyM Staff with the utmost respect and professionalism.
    Administrative:
    • TPS monitoring
    • Resolve minor crashes (entities/blocks within front-end capabilities)
    • Investigate and address duplication issues, implementing necessary bans.
    • Conduct testing for bugs, game crashes, duplication glitches, and game mechanics (excluding server crashes).
    • Conduct global searches for specific issues.
    • Administer permanent bans.
    • Generate private bug reports and GitHub submissions.
    Managerial:
    • Conduct basic observations (Junior Moderator -> Moderator), reporting findings to the Managers.
    • Evaluate aptitude, quality of work, and any discipline concerns.
    • Draft performance reviews for Moderators and Junior Moderators, subject to review and release by management.
    • Conduct training sessions on the training server for staff members.
    • Ensure proper training of staff members.
    • Assist Managers in the Junior Moderator intake process as needed.
    • Review ban reports for accuracy.
    • Fulfill Workramp duties as required.
    • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), proposing updates and revisions as necessary.
    • Add new Junior Moderator applications and manage absences through the manager data system via Google Forms.
    Requirements:

    Minimum Requirements (subject to change!)
    • 3 months of experience as a Moderator, or 1 month for returning staff who previously held this position (subject to Manager discretion and circumstance).
    Consistency and Excellence:
    • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in your current role as a Moderator.
    • Display consistent and exceptional productivity in handling tickets and support.
    Professionalism:
    • Exhibit outstanding customer service skills.
    • Demonstrate a high degree of maturity and patience, especially in challenging player interactions.
    • Strong social and interpersonal skills, including proactivity, effective communication, empathy, self-control, conflict resolution, assertiveness, criticism, and curiosity.
    Teamwork and Leadership:
    • Cultivate positive relationships with fellow staff members.
    • Serve as a role model for others.
    • Display keen interest and a drive to expand knowledge of the network and other positions.
    • Steer clear of drama and rumor mills.
    • Show willingness to train others without prompting.
    • Share knowledge and contribute to the collective knowledge database.
    • Consistently exhibit teamwork and leadership throughout your tenure as staff.
    Expectations:
    • Ongoing development within both the MyM and Modded Minecraft communities.
    • Assumed additional responsibilities.
    • Access to greater opportunities for growth.
    • Ample exposure to hands-on experience and knowledge.
    • Opportunity for management and administrative experience.
