I'm loading up the Infinity modpack just fine, but when I open the server browser Minecraft can't connect to any of the servers. I'm using the MyM Launcher. I'm fairly certain that it has something to do with my connection. If you could help me sort that out I'd really appreciate it.

If you could do a traceroute, that would be handy.
Open the command line and use:
    Windows: tracert infinity.mym.li
    Unix: traceroute infinity.mym.li

Okay I did the traceroute. How do I give you what it came up with?

copy and paste, on windows its a little tricky, you will need to use the navigation. Right click on the title bar:

Or you just make a screenshot from the output.

Were you able to get on the servers before with the same connection? It times out right on your local network already. Do you access the forums from the same connection? Any proxies involved? (would be the case with a public network e.g. from school)

I haven't logged onto the servers with this connection, but I am using it to get on the forums as we speak. The connection is a dorm internet.

Yeah, most likely a proxy in between. You would need to talk to the system administrator of the network. The minecraft specific port is 25565 TCP.

The problem was indeed a port issue. My college apparently closed all of the video game ports and are only recently opening them back up. Sadly that means I won't be able to play on this amazing server network for a while :(
