I have no idea if this have been talked about and have found a solution but I was wondering if its possible to have kind of the morpheus mod but doing through a command. Like /sleep and there will be like a vote system and if the majority is reached it will become daytime. This could also be useful to the packs that doesn't have morpheus. I also want this since getting stuck in the bed is a thing in 1.10.
It's been a vanilla bug in 1.10 where people get stuck if you sleep in bed(vanilla bed or the sleeping bag). I have no idea if sponge already have a fixed on it. It's very annoying since you can't kick yourself and only way is to restart client. This happened to me in dw2 1.10 although that's like a few months ago, don't know if stuff changed then. I know its still happening since I've been playing sprout in singleplayer and its still happening in there.
I know we had an open issue for this on the sponge github and received no responses as to the problem. I've not actually heard that this is still happening in 1.10 until now and actually thought it might have been fixed. Though if it isn't happening here I can't provide you with a whole lot of guidance on the issue, but it being a vanilla bug it might never be resolved in the current modded life cycle.
Ah I see, well tbh I haven't been sleeping since most of the time morpheus isn't in the pack. And I only sleep/lay down to set my home whenever I died, which miraculously is not bugged
The only time I have ever successfully used Morpheus was one time when it was just me and one other person on the server lol Am I just unlucky tho? Cus I hardely ever even see the Morpheus sleep vote In chat either.
Morpheus mod works, there is nothing wrong with the mod itself. The problem is the stuck in bed, which is a vanilla bug. If you don't see the morph vote in chat then its prob not in the pack. I know its not in forever stranded.
No, it's not that it's not in the pack or that it doesn't work, what I'm saying is that I just don't see people using it very often and even when they do I almost never see it actually get enough votes to make it day time (I'm guessing that's because a lot of people don't even have a bed) But maybe I'm just unlucky and miss it every time
There is a mod that fixes the issue, called Bed Bugs. IIRC, the bug itself is fixed in MC Version 1.11. Like wyndman stated, I haven't heard of this issue during my whole time on Mym.
