Hi, From time to time, I like to pop in to see what's going on- rarely for any length of time, as personal and professional life tend to get in the way. Today was one such day, having been absent for many months and finding myself with a rare sliver of free time. It saddens me deeply to learn that MyM has shut down, though of course- nothing lasts forever. Nothing, perhaps, other than my fond memories of all the times I banned @deepcage over the last decade. No hard feelings by the way- hope you're well, you legend. I'd like to take a moment to say thank you. To all the staff and community members- those who stuck around till the very end, those I worked with directly who've since moved on, the community at large, and finally, @Slind and @SirWill for sticking with it as long as they did. You all helped shape who I am today. MyM gave me so much as a young adult- a sense of community, and a wealth of transferrable experience across every level of staff, from systems administration and people management through to software development towards the later end. Skills I carried with me long after I stepped away, and ones that continue to serve me well. It's a strange thing, how a corner of the internet can leave such a lasting mark on your life- but MyM truly did. So, for one last time- thank you, to everyone. It was a hell of a ride. - Snowfoxs
