Source of light

    So I've become tired of having bats all over the place. I started looking into various light sources and while having small corners of glowstone everywhere is a viable option it looks like my base got a case of the chicken pox.
    So I was looking into the sigil of light, but I recall that the light sources themself count as a tile entity which if I'm not mistaken is not all that great (?).

    So anyone have inputs on that or any other ideas for a non-bat-chicken-pox way? :D

    Have you tried carpenters blocks? You can add glowstone dust to them and make them emit light

    or take glowstone and put it in a painting machine and paint it to look like the blocks you want, is what i did

    Why do you want to get rid of bat (WOOL OF BAT FOR EVERYONE) just sell it on the market for like 10-100$
