So I thought about it long and hard for several days now and for certain servers that don’t all ready have something like this I was thinking that on servers that need something like oil or lava and I know most servers have a place for the SirWilli lava tank but I know it would be helpful if a oil dimension or a lava dimension was made for people to setup their own stuff and it would be a dimension completely made of the liquid in this case lava but I’ve had a bad time trying to get oil every month from the farm world and it’s hard to get my pump before the world resets because of my schedules but my main point is for servers starting now and to not remove the sirwilli tanks but to add a new dimension for oil and stuff using like on direwolf20 1.7.10 server you could do it with mystcraft and it would work perfectly fine also the dimensions wouldn’t reset which is the idea Edit: I know it would cause server lag but not anymore than the farm world or nether do
First of all. Use upper case letters to start a sentence and periods to finish them. This giant wall of text is stressful to read, and if you want people to respond to your post, don't make them read it three times before they actually understand it. A pure lava dimension defeats the purpose of the SirWilli tank, which is to replace lava pumping in the nether. As you said it is causing server lag, so that is why players are not allowed to do that. I don't really know how that is with BC oil, but I think not many people use it, so the farm world should be more than sufficient.
I would have suggested adding a custom recipe for an alternate version of the sirwill tank that gives oil instead of lava, but tbh the whole point of oil is that it is supposed to be a much more limited resource than lava that you're supposed to have to keep searching for as you move your pump from one oil spring to the next. In most "kitchen sink" modpacks oil is generally a mid-tier power source, it requires a bit of effort to setup and maintain but turns into a reasonably supply of power to tide you over until you can move up to something better, it's a great stepping stone for a while, but not something you should expect to rely on forever and definitely not something you should expect to be able to scale up forever (not without making the tps suffer anyway)!
