Using a specter key from random things mod is suppose to teleport you to a 16x16 sealed room that is unique to each player. However, while sometimes this works most of the time you end up getting teleported under the room and if you're not flying you fall to void and die. The entire dimension is also completely unusable as its all protected. Since this dimension serves no purpose other than killing anyone without flight who attempts to go to it I believe it would be in the best interest of the community to add the specter key to the banned items list so no one else ends up loosing lives there. I had made a ticket about this issue but haven't gotten a reply yet so I'm making this thread in the hopes that while this danger exists others will see this thread and know not to attempt to going there.
Haven't experienced being teleported under the room, but definitely the claim protection extends past people's rooms and into the rooms next to them. Makes it practically unusable.
when i use the specter key, i land within the room, but get immediatly kicked back to the overwolrd because my room is within someone elses claim, and the server thinks i'm tresspassing
Anyway if your room happens to be usable its a bypass for loosing your island as i don't think the room resets.
Please try again with a empty inventory. If you still have this issue then there is nothing we can do.
If i try to go there again i could die again and on a pack where lives are the most valuable resource i really dont want to risk it. and as for placing a floor, that's impossible because the entire area is protected as ive said.
