I am just wondering if there is something about the strongbox that makes it not work right with griefprevention or if there is a way to at least make the boxes allow those trusted in a claim to use them with out those who are not trusted getting to them. As it is my wife cannot access the boxes if I set them to restricted or private so I need a way to keep others out. ( I mean heck if I am griefed ill just report it and wait for ban hand outs, I'm not afraid of that, I just was trying to figure out why they don't get protected lol. ^_^)

the strong box yes, chests no. I assume its because there are like 5 kinds of strong boxs with seperated meta data tags that are not registered to the GP access database

All =(. I'm trying to find if they are CoFH to be 100% sure. IF they are then all boxes restricted, but private will be just you.

Team CoFH made Thermal Expansion, which means that it's CoFH.

The next question is how do you add the mod itself to the friend list so that itemducts will work with them in restricted mode?

thanks[DOUBLEPOST=1429820181][/DOUBLEPOST]that does not seem to have worked, I even added [CoFH] and [[CoFH]] to the /cofh friend gui list just in case.

Strongboxes are meant to hold items that no other player can access(hence why they don't work with item ducts, they have no sideInventory slot).

They work with them so long as you don't set them to restricted or private, I just know I have been able to add them to GP protection lists as an owner before so I was just wondering if it was a MyM choice to have them the way they are. ^_^
If I have to change a few to public when I want my things to auto dump inv. then ill do it, not that big of a deal really.

I know on 1.7.10 you can pump items in/out when the box isn't secured with a signalum lock, however since you are on 1.6.4 I'm pretty sure all the strongboxes start locked.

I am currently pumping items in and out, as long as they are public lol. It works fine until you try and set per users access trust on them like restricted or private because I cant figure out how to add CoFH to the trusted people list. ^_^

Well, as you yourself were saying, if it were compatible with griefprevention, that would solve the problem.

No it is not, lol. like I said though its not a huge huge deal if people do like I do and only un-restrict them when in use, but it is an extra step and A LOT of players are lazy. XD
