So, me and Spelosty have been a team for a little while now, ever since the first few days of Divine Journey. We were wondering which idea for a base we should try out, but we're kinda indecisive since they are all good ideas. Here's where you all come in, could you help us know what would be cool to you? We'll be playing on the new version of the Revelations server by Monday, so we'll look at the results of the poll and hopefully we'll have an idea of what we're doing. K, thanks!
The tricky under water base is appealing to me sinces domes are harder to make i have always wanted an base under water but when I have started a start up base i den dont really get working on such
I once made a giant sphere in ozone kappa and that was "fun" i also once made a man made ocean and island on ag skies which actually looked quite nice, so im going for the man made island
Shard of Laputa XX + A large wizard tower, depending on the size it does look really good, I've previously done all of these builds except the nether one and they all look pretty sick. You just need to know how to pull it off, Underwater base is probably the easiest to make look good, but hardest to build.
With underwater bases, it is a cool idea, but it would be more appealing to the people living there as no one else would really ever see it... Being basically hidden, just like any underground base... Making a copy cat wizards tower based off the towers in Twilight runs into the issue of "seen it already", with no originality... Same goes for a copy cat of the Nether strongholds, just done with a different block style... It really boils down to what you want to accomplish, either to be creative, to be functional, to show off your copying skills (with a twist), or a mix? The Ewok tree concept sounds interesting, as you could have bridges and so forth... But to be true to the concept, it would have to feel like it naturally flows with the natural feel of the tree... Some folks build a tree house base that pretty much is just a giant house on tree stilts... Which would definitely not be very Ewok like... Or they just shave off the top half of the tree and build a giant flat base platform... Again, not very Ewok like...
Iam doing a domed under water base and lighting it up the first dome looks ohhh so pritty and now iam working on the much large dome when i get next time but your a better builder then I caus I first discovered that my dome is out of shape and I don't wana rip it down
