So, I was playing on C3 last night with my friend Ender_God_Style. He was out doing quests because of the book reset. I was making things for power generation. Now, what happened was, he was doing the quest where you have to kill 5 of each mob. He got done with the first part, and was on to the second part where he has to kill an enderman. He died to it the first time, and gets sent back to his first sync shell. Right after he returns to his sync shell, my games exits out from alt tabbing for whatever reason. As i'm loading my game back up, He dies to the enderman a second time. This shouldn't be a big deal right? We each have 2 sync shell things, so he should go to the second one. Well, he doesn't and our world got deleted. I got back on right after it got deleted, and tried doing /is home. It said i didn't have an island. I was wondering if there was any way to get back our island, because i don't really want to redo everything I've done. My ign is: supergray999

It is a rather normal thing for sync mod to not register your sync shell. Either it being to close to other sync constructors sync shells, or just random thing's. I have posted some things I have mad a common practice for me and my island group and so far have been alive for almost a month, with no sync related deaths or island loss.
Its not a guarantee, but so far it has worked. Hope it helps.

When making a sync, you should always do a few things to make sure it works right. Some of those things are
1: Log into the server through the lobby, Direct connections seem to unsync you sometimes.
2: After starting your clone, relog to make sure the server keeps up with your shell properly. This is backed by the mod author, who posted it in his/her remarks for mod, and has also already been posted by others to ensure everyone know's!
3: If your not setting your constructor, or storage on normal (Default) minecraft blocks, leave the space above it 2 blocks high, so you don't suffocate.
4: As soon as possible, build a shell storage. Don't store a shell in it but instead, step in it to check if your clone is inside your constructor, or other storage area.
I have found that keeping a shell storage empty to manually check my sync has been VERY usefull and it lets me know if the system is glitched out, and whether or not I can go crazy, or if I have to be carefull.

Well, i guess i should have paid more attention to the quest book then lol. If its a normal thing, ill just have to start over. Not that hard to do, just time consuming. I will definitely be using your tips for sync. Thanks for the help!
