The aspect requirements for the Essence of False Life and Shimmerleaf use the same base aspects as such when I attempt to create the shimmerleaf it falls back to the least used aspects and creates the Essence.
If you use an alchemical construct for your crucible it will allow you to choose which recipe to make, however until you have the research and materials to make that, I don't know of any other solution. doesn' that require shimmerleaf to make the silverwood for though? (I'm not too familiar with skyblock thaum recipes ) If you don't need the essence of false life research then a mod may be able to remove it from your character so that you can't make the essence until you research it again.
