Welcome to the first MineYourMind Mafia game thread Rules: The following rules have to be followed at all time. A violation against one of the following rules will result in an instant removal from the game by me. In the following this will be called "modkill". Editing any post is not allowed. Even not for spelling mistakes. If I see someone editing his or her post, this will result in a modkill. During ingame nighttime posting is not allowed. Only participants of the game, that are still alive are allowed to post in this thread. Each player has a name, a affiliation and a role. For example, JamesBond, part of the MI6, SuperSecretAgent. It is NOT allowed to post your name or role in the thread. If I forgot a rule, it will be announced in the thread and added to this list. Players will not be modkilled for breaking a rule before I announce it. Obviously cheating is not allowed, please don't ruin the game for yourself and the other players. If someone messes up big time, he will be put on my personal blacklist and excluded from all future games that I host. If you want you can set yourself invisible in the forum. This prevents other players from seeing when you are responding to a conversation with your fellow mafia members. Discussing this game is only allowed in the game thread during daytime and also in the conversation I opened with you. Do not discuss this in Teamspeak or Slack or other media. Please do not tag any role names. It is annoying for members of this forum, if they get tagged all the time, just because I decided to use them in this game. Players that are inactive in one day cycle, wil receive a warning at the end of the day. If they stay inactive in the consecutive day cycle, they will be modkilled at the end of the day. Clarification: When I speak about nighttime or daytime I am referring to the ingame night and days. I will usually announce in the scene posts whether it is night or day. This has obviously nothing to do with the current night or day in your home country. Deadlines will be given in german local time. Everyone should be old enough to find out what that means for him/her. During ingame daytime: During daytime every player still alive can discuss here who to lynch in the evening and why. If you decide to lynch a player, vote for him by writing his name in bold letters. E.g. "I vote Sandstroem" You can change your vote as often as you want Me and basically every player can post a summary of the votes collected so far. Since I am not there all the time, I encourage players to write summaries. I will give an example once the first votes are there. Each day will have a deadline, which will be announced in the morning scene. The day ends if either the deadline is reached, then the player with the most votes gets lynched, or if one player gets a majority of the votes during the daytime. If you notice that a player has the majority of the votes, stop posting, even if I havent officially declared the end of day. Again, I am not 24h watching this thread. When someone gets lynched, his/her rolename, affiliation and role will be named in the night scene, but not the whole description of the role. "Just a normal day at MineYourMind" LucidTheStick thought after a long staff meeting. He calmly decided to hop on Project Ozone to play for an hour with his best buddy MrWisski. If he had known what the next day brings, he would have taken some precautions and prepared some ban reports. It is night now. Each player will get a private message with a role within the next 24 hours. Please respond to the private message, if you have read it. If you have a non-lethal ability, please also let me know what action you want to take. This thread is closed until I get all the responses back per private message. The deadline for the day is Saturday, 1st of October, 8 p.m., german local time. Some clarifications: Please make sure to reread the rules in the first post and understand them. I added some new ones since I first wrote the post. I derped and didnt see that profrags registered in the registration thread, so I added him later on. Profrags rolename is DarthVader. This name outing is part of his role. Profrags also has a lynch immunity on Day 1. This means you can not vote for him. Nobody died the last night, Kronnn is just a NPC to get the story going. The day ends when one player gets 7 votes or if the deadline is reached. In case of the deadline the player with the most votes is lynched. If two or more players with the same vote count are at the top of the vote list, nobody gets lynched. If you have questions please ask them here or in your "your mafia role" conversations. You are supposed to discuss here and then vote here. Votes are open. The procedure how to do it is described in the first post. Yeah and i noticed the doublepost thing, which is very annoying. Try not to make a doublepost then.
I asked in slack, unfortunately there seems not to be any way to disable this "double post edit together" feature or disable edits completely, so just dont make doubleposts. This game only works if I can trust the participants' honesty. There is no way for me to enforce all the rules. Also: If anyone watching the game and not participating is interested in discussing this game in a private conversation with other spectators (so far none ) please send me a private message.
Well that's exciting. Since we probably aren't going to get much discussion on the first day otherwise, I vote to lynch EndorianHD. I hope this helps provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
