Now I did make a ticket on the unbanning of deaths, however I was shutdown. I know this is not ideal and I should drop it, but it's a item with its issues can be fixed with the insalation of a few plugins, I feel like many users who love witchery would adore it even if you could only allow for its for pve purpose, theres a pluggin that removes a weapon from your hotbar when you go into combat I've experienced it, I'm sure it could be implemented on deaths hand. WOULD this prevent bypass, absolutely of course the plugin would have to be tweaked to where if a player come near regardless of PvP status its removes for your hotbar, again I know this Is not ideal in the slightest way and I am asking for a huge favor, but I'm sure It would make people happy including me! And this does not have to be a network thing, as the work would be a lot,

That's not a simple task and will most likely not happen.

Well in the end its your server all I can do is ask, but thank you for atleast considering the possibility SirWill
[doublepost=1503586276][/doublepost]As for the plugin, I'm not sure if mym makes their own plugins or gets.them from somewhere so it could be hard to find

Much like Sirwill said, the work involved in making the item safe(er) is hard to justify the limited use of the item.. or the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

@Teasdorn said there is a premade plugin, but refused to link it for some reason.

Well its not premade, and like i said the plugin im reffering to i need to look for the name of and i cant, currently cause im not ingame when i get the chance i will.
[doublepost=1503619402,1503607781][/doublepost]Well i thought about the time and work that would need to go into this, so i will drop it. however i do disagree with the limited use as this pve dominated network so i dont thin anyone would mind really if it were only for pve and would get full use out of the item, now i belive the plugin is called ProtectEX, and again im not sure how plugins work but essentially if you could make it so if deaths hand were in a players hot bar and another player came near by it would remove it out of a players hotbar. now i dont know how difficult this would so this is why i will drop it thank you again for considering the idea

sounds annoying. Consider being in a cave in the middle of a fight and another player flies by above ground. Thanks to whoever was in the same area, you are now dead, because you couldn't defend your self.
Ofc, the same goes without the visible barrier.

Using something that consumes a ton of hunger as your only weapon sounds kind of stupid. Also, it's possible to put "<Warning:> Item will be removed from hotbar if players are nearby." on the Item.

well again you dont have to make the range that far, considering this is specific to protecting against bypass i would say if a player came within mabey 5 to 6 or even 7 blocks, and although it consumes your hunger combined with the armor you get plently of health to feed yourself when using the item, but it also works great with vamprism

Would go with 5. If I remember correctly, 4 blocks is exactly how far a player can reach without cheats.

Botania provides a bauble which can increase reach, I have a feeling that there are some other mods which also provide the ability to use items at a distance too.

    Hi Tesadorn,
As mentioned above and in your ticket, it appears this request is not doable at this point in time, so I will go ahead and close this thread. Happy gaming!
