I decided to make this because I would enjoy to share my personal opinion on the new Project Ozone Lite server, and to see other people’s opinions.

I have only played for a day, but I have seen pretty good performance with my gaming laptop, usually around 100 FPS. Usually packs that have really good performance come with a negative side such as it being less enjoyable, and having less content but I don’t tend to see it in this pack, sure it’s a smaller version of Project Ozone, but they managed it to be very similar very well. The server doesn’t run amazing (Which is to be expected with a newer and experimental server) but I’m okay with that. Overall it might’ve been unexpected but I also think it’s more of a “filler” while the staff members at MYM work on new servers which most of us voted on a while back. It runs amazing while keeping interest. Love to the MYM staff and the maker of the pack for bringing us this amazing server and pack!

    What’s your opinion?

The pack is really good in my opinion, i am almost done with it in Solo and i had real fun to do it. I think the tweak are really nice so you can feel progression, but it doesn't end up being tedious.

It could be just a little bit harder on some part, and I am starting to dislike pack that makes you go ender IO. I want to do something else . Thermal Expansion evolved, there is Mekanism. Just having a different set up than the typical Ender Io that you are forced to do cuz you need the alloy.

i just started today, so i can't say too much yet. But so far, the node ran fine, even with many players online. those mods that i used so far seem to be the friendlier versions (e.g. no durability on sieve meshes compared to forever stranded), among other smaller details that i like.
i've got to advance a bit more before i can have a proper opinion though. also, better questing is currently disabled due to stability problems, so i'll wait for that to be re-enabled too, to see how well planned/balanced the quests are.

but it's definitely a nice change of pace for me, as opposed to AoE where i'm slowly struggling through the grind

I’ve played a bit on both nodes and have been loving it. Both nodes have wonderful and helpful players, lag is fine (as long as there are no pebble spammers), and overall the experience has been great for me.

    Some things to point out:
    1) I didn’t really care for PO2 normal or kappa and preferred SF3, but still love PO Lite.
    2) As Kissqt mentioned, you feel actual progression with the right amount of grind. So far nothing has felt tedious, but more of an enjoyable playing experience.
    3) Although I have been playing a bit on both nodes since Friday, I feel like I’m progressing too fast and so the pack probably won’t last me long. So far from what I’ve seen there’s not too many other building blocks, so I’m not sure if I will make an extensive base.

All in all, definitely worth trying, especially if you normally can’t play 1.10 packs or want to try a Skyblock pack.

I haven't played on it yet, but I'm planning on downloading the modpack later today and personally I'm hoping it's as great as everyone says it is. :p

I am enjoying PO2lite, after a nudge from @Tipsied to come and join the 'cool kids' on node 2 I decided why not. @matiepie2 and myself have been playing it through, its much more laid back then Kappa but also very fun to progress in. The quests are more simple and give a direction instead of a you must do this to do this kind of thing. Overall It gets a +1 from me, would highly suggest playing it!

True, i am almost done with the pack with 50 hours and there were some afk time (but i needed some resources, so not sure if it was totally wasted resources). I think it's like a 100 hours pack kind of

Feel like it's a well balanced and tiered pack overall, but could use a hard/kappa mode. Offtopic: nice pfp @willow

Welp, I’m done with ozone2 normal and I don’t want to do kappa so I may as well try this out.

Apart from the "pebbling" that kills the server, I quite like it. It's missing quite a few mods that I would have liked to have, but it's also missing a few mods that I dislike, so it's a good balance.
