Is there any word on how things will change in light of the new rules put forth by Mojang? I like my kits, but it seems like those are going to have to go away. What about god-mode or /back and /fly? Are those considered legit? And can Mojang stop you from selling modded items or just vanilla items? What perks are you considering (if any) to replace the current donor perks?
We are aware of this situation and are working on what needs to be done if anything yet. We don't restrict anything unnecessarily or to promote donations in any way, nor have we ever done that, which is what they are talking about when I read the new rules. I think there will be some clarifications in the next few days/weeks that will help us decide what needs to be done, if anything. Thank you again for bringing this newest post to our attention. We will keep you updated with any changes that occurs due to this Mojang change.
This is not a full statement from me but it should give you an idea of how I see it atm. The whole thing started with the new tos of 1.7.10 where they changed some stuff and force the user to accept it. From this point on a lot of people got emotional and at some point mojang had to put up a statement. We will wait a bit until this whole thing has cooled down and see what is really going on, as atm it is too emotional to get a clear picture. If we are honest, these restrictions have been there for quite some time and no one (in general) knew, talked about it or even cared.
Sterling Plays The only thing to add to this one is that we could hold 10 times the players if we would have vanilla minecraft and not heavy modded servers.
