Done Tool Forge slab version won't craft

    The tinkerers construct tool forge won't go into it's slab form. the recipe for it is just placing the tool forge in a crafting table and it converts to the other form. however when you try and craft it it refuses to actually craft. is it blocked or is this just a glitch?
