Done trouble with blood magic

so ive been playing DW20 alot and finally started with blood magic to get nodes to my base, only to find out it doesnt work for me at all! now now hang on , hold those horses. what i mean is : i sacrifice myself, and the graphic of blood in the altar is there, however after 6 seconds its completely gone like the wind! i know for certain this is not the internal buffer since that one isnt as fast as instantly. anyone got a clue? ps i AM a vampire but ive done blood magic as a vampire before and it didnt need my droplets to be filled at the time(worked fine even when starving)

 

Is there an item in the blood altar

 

Dumb question Are you using your Blood Orn to sacrifice or the Sacrificial orb ?

 

there is no item in the altar and im using the sacrificial orb, i know atleast that much :/

 

use the knife dagger[DOUBLEPOST=1462820146][/DOUBLEPOST]and stand right next to the alter

 

This kind of sound like when you die when sacrificing, you have a penalty and you got stuck with this

 

The Sacrificial Knife was replaced by the Sacrificial Orb by default to appease some concerns over self inflicted injury. For Players preferring to use the Knife, it can be enabled by settingB:IDontLikeFun in the wimpysettings section of AWWayofTime.cfg to false.

Unless disabled, the name and textures for the Knife are swapped with those of the Orb. In every other respect the two are identical.

the issue is that vampires no longer have the ability to fill the blood magic alter due to recent exploits to do with the health this is the official ftb website
