So I have noticed that witchery machines such as the distillery and the altar function at extremely diminished rates.... For example a basic altar with nothing on it should regenerate 10 altar power per second, and it does so as long as you are in the exact same chunk as it is. However, if you are even a single chunk away it will regenerate at a rate of 10 altar power per 10-15 seconds. This delay also applies to a distillery drawing power from an altar if it is in a different chunk or a ritual if it is in a different chunk.... It even affects brewing. This makes a few rituals that require a certain amount of altar power per second to burn out, no matter how good your altar is,if your ritual circle isn't in the same chunk. This is not usually how this is supposed to function so I have to assume this is either a glitch or intentional. Is there any way you can fix this?
Well that's not the whole problem, it would mean I need a chunkloader in every single chunk that I have anything witchery related in, and that's more of a forced unnecessary scenario. I feel it would be less server intensive to allow them to just operate normally.....
We can only change it global and not for specific tile ents which will not happen as it will cause performance issues.
put an alluring skull on there, along with a wither skull, dragon egg, demon heart, and an arthana, one of those things overrides the fact you're not there and keeps the altar and all stuff its powering loaded
