I feel this is probably something obvious, but I'm clueless. I built a small wither proof box for mid game wither killing just up from portal in the nether. There are remnants to 2 previous wither killing stations there also/ First wither spawned no problem, killed it. but each time thereafter the soulsand and wither skulls just disappear after placing them. Hello WorCannibal, I'm not entirely sure about boss entities, but perhaps there's an interfering mobcap? Don't take my word on that though, I'm just guessing. Maybe check for mobs in the surrounding area.
This could be lag related. Permission related (too near a claim) or just a weird chunk being buggy. I'd try a different area and monitor your /ping and server tps.
@SovereignEternal You nailed it man! I had some early game platforms where mobs were spawning. Vein mined the platform (and mobs) and was back in business. Thank you
