Hey, as i was testing something i accidently hit the right click on my bound pickaxe. Causing my hole ME system to get destroyed (I think so at least). I got an internal server error and was moved to the lobby. Upon logging in i find that the system has been destroyed and all the items fell onto the ground. And as i logged in the server also crashed. So i lost my ME system and the server might crash if i try to logg in. Could i get a rollback? This happend around 5 minutes ago (GMT +1, 22:25) I would really love to have a rollback since this would handicap me. I dont have anything outside the ME system that i can use to regain or rebuild the system. I would have to go back to manually collecting metals and gems untill i got to where i was with the system. Please help me! Sin
Hey Sin, I believe there is no type of backup that could do your house/chunk/region unless they extracted your region and replaced it with the new one, but they may cause other people around you to get a rollback. And as they have the plugin prism which catches griefers and rollbacks may not rollback as it wasn't a player who destroyed them specific items but you will have to wait and see what the admin's say! Ive seen cases when they have done a rollback in a specific region. I believe that this can be done, but i have to hope they will help me with this. :/
Personally I think if you choose to make a bound tool capable of such destruction, then you need to take responsibility for using it safely. On Monster, if someone accidentally uses a bound pick in their base then we give no refunds/rollbacks and make them rebuild it themselves as it's their own fault for not being more careful. Ultimately I don't actually have the power to do rollbacks anyway, so I'll leave it for a senior @Admin to decide, but I wouldn't get your hopes up cause if we give you a rollback for this, then we'd have to start giving rollbacks to anyone who makes a similar mistake.
Yea, and i am well aware of that. But the server crashed when this happend. Causing all items to be deleted and may crash if I log in again. I cannot test now as I am about to go to bed. I made a rollback, you might have lost a bit progress from it as I haven't been aware of this issue early enough and we only save 8 hourly backups thence daily
