Anyone have any tips they could possibly share with a starting youtuber? Haven't uploaded much because ive had a lot of stuff to do. Just recently hit 7 subs. P.S. anyone know what version hubris is on?
I am far from a big youtuber, however this is what I belive you havve to do to become a somewhat bigger youtuber. Have a name that is easy to remember and stands out. Know your fanbase, don't make enemies. Upload constantly, uploading constantly will make people think you like what you are doing. It's a lot easier to hit that sub button when you know the one you just subbed to doesn't do it for fame, but because he enjoys it. There is just one thing to keep in mind, youtube is so saturated, there as so many people trying to get into it, so becoming a big youtuber, or even hitting a few thousand subs, is extremely hard.
thank you for the tips! cant record atm as it's 12:30am at my house... i really shouldnt be up this late...
for people to find your videos easily make sure the first sentance in your description is your title and make sure in your tags your title is also staed in there. Dont use any numbers in your name unless its easy to remember like Shweg69 or used to make your name a liitle different. For example Chick3n.
do not record your videos in HD unless you know your software AND hardware can handle it with good FPS. Make a intro for your videos Always thank people watching (do weekly shoutouts people love that) Dont use music in the background, its hard to find music to use thats not copywrite ridiculousness lol make sure your mic is not like mine and picks up every other noise in your house other than you talking... thats all the tips I have lol Hope it helps
here is a place to find non copyrighted music: NCS - NoCopyrightSounds : NCS – NoCopyrightSounds[DOUBLEPOST=1438443348,1438443189][/DOUBLEPOST]a few more tips is: Have a appealing channel art/ profile picture/ thumbnails If you want i can make you a nice profile pic . Just tell me a colour and a letter
Make the viewer want to keep watching. The Average ammount of time for someone to stay on a video before clicking away is 3 seconds...
Wear a snap-back cap and be like "Hey Youtubers it's DaBoss2231 here and welcome to another video. Don't forget to like and subscribe! Stay safe gamers!" I'm kidding, don't do that. Never do that. Like Purple Cat says, give yourself a USP (unique selling point) that gets people hooked in the first few seconds. The way most people do this is having an opening video with dramatic music and intense visuals. It stands out, looks profesh and gives your videos a familiar yet unique identity - kinda like branding. Adobe After Effects is good, but there are tons of other apps that do it and neat tutorials on how to make vid intros. Hood luck m'hearty!
