Details in the construction are EPIC! keep up the Epic work.
how can i download the default map for galactic science
Generator almost completed. It's just missing piping and fuel storage barrels for fuel coming from the upper floor.
Arboretum entrance & lighting detail study.
In-progress shot from building the arboretum and connecting tunnel.
Main base located underground under blue tunnel.
Detail of the resident climbing jungle tree also used for growing cocoa pods.
Arboretum in action producing wood and leaves. Climbing jungle tree on the left is resident.
Entrance to the arboretum taken from the connecting tunnel.
Automated remote oxygen tank refilling system visible in the center.
A day shot. The vibrant colored glass works really great in both darkness and light and stands out in white background of the Moon surface.
First experiment with elevator shaft base floor. The square-ish design did not match the cylindrical shape of the main building so got discarded.
Experimenting with elevator entrance design.
Complete view of the front part of the base before elevator shaft was built.
They say a cocoa pod contains elements they are really beneficial.
Ground floor of the chem plant building housing a turbine from Advanced Generators.
Two cobblestone structures got later replaced by EnderIO power banks.
Upper floor of chem plant where carrots are decomposed into elements. Later they were synthetized into fuel.
Carrots enter the system through the hopper in center.
I like open bases instead of living under ground. As oxygenated closed spaces are needed in Galactic Science I experimented with large see-through colored glass walls and night lighting to also achieve futuristic look.
Blastoff to Mars. Item cannon delivering carrots from arboretum to chem plant visible on arboretum roof.
Arboretum building with resident plants for oxygen collection in the front.
Chem plant where carrots get synthetised into fuel at the back. Elevator shaft on the side of chem plant building.
MrRoooo, not to be a buzzkill, you would refer to that 3 mast schooner as a ship. a boat is what you make in Minecraft to get from one side of a body of water to the other side.
In my opinion just based off the photos the fireworks show could've been better (then again I've seen firework shows in minecraft that take months to build)
Thanks for posting these, I wanted to be there but I had to work. Looks like fun & I hope I make it to the next one
well its really cool and nice but i didnt think borg doing all those farming thing in their spaceships
Really cool setup and base!
I know that, i just liked the POWER of that setup of mine.
What people don't get is why their island lags so much is caused by SFM which has been proven for years. SFM also consumes more power the faster you go. It has been tested and confirmed by staff when searching for lag sources. Also confirmed if you google about SFM.
Meh, you underesimate power of whole chunk of SFM rapid sifter system with crafting, hammering, smelting and sorting.
Oh boi, that lagged so much ;p
I like that you made small hills not just flat grass around.
Prolly juust out grass/dirt on dust but whatever it looks good.
When I got a notification from this, I was legitimately confused lol.
Wow that is a large egg!
Heck yeah! I'm glad you decided to share this! The place is gorgeous and I adore all of it. Your use of microblocks is fantastic!!
maybe not all tree microblocked but snow only to save the work ;p
I might, yeah. Icicles are on the list for sure. I liked the look of the smaller cyprus trees but I agree. Eventually I'll make some microblocked spruce trees most likely.
Love the microblock snow on roof, if you add some icicles hanging from the roof it would be perfect.
Also change trees to more "spruce" like and add just few bushes and dead bushes to add a little more variety of plants.
In the middle you are gonna add Xmass tree?
So who gonna buy direwolf like @Sandstroem does with rerowth?
Direwolf20 1.7.10 - we love it!
He did the shed! He did the shed on my bed!
Direwolf20 1.7.10 - never forgetti da best serveretti
BEES! NOT THE BEES!
But thanks for letting scan those nodes tho
