    This is the information for our Developers. This will give you a better understanding as to what our Devs do. It also contains an application for joining our Developer team. You can find it here.

    To be an admin, you have to slowly climb the rungs from Jr. Moderator to the Lofty ranks of Admin.. If it was your desire to work here you would learn at each step, and by the time you are ready to become an administrator you'd have the skill set to start and we'd train you the rest of the way.

    yea i had just went and looked at that and it says i need 1-2 years java experience which ive been working with java for 3 years now but just of and on with this little thing that u do like
    rect (50, 50, 50, 50);
    and then the display draws a rectangle but ik that that isnt the kind of experience i need for this
    i also dont know what sql is
    so i know i have a lot of learning i just am hoping to get some beginners advice from people who have been here before

    i had been a mod on here before (under a different username) but i thought to be an admin you had to already know how to do that stuff for the most part
    i have considered rejoining the 2 main things stopping me is i dont know what pack to play and the bigger more serious one is im moving soon and i dont know exactly when and i doont know how long ill be with out internet and the internet where im at know i dont always have access to (its apartment wifi and around 2 it just stops working except for on weekends for no apparent reason) so im mainly just waiting to move and get stable internet to rejoin

    We don't require a staff member to play a certain pack. We actually prefer for our team to travel and interact with players across all of our packs.

    yea but i would probably want to find a main one because to go up to sr. mod. it says to fairly well know all the mods in the main server u play on

    SQLCourse - Lesson 1: What is SQL?

    Java is also weird in that it's highly advanced, of which a lot goes on with bukkit/sponge plugins and development is hard

    I'm not sure if this can relate to this post much at all but where i began in learning to become a developer I took a college level course at my school of Python, then over the summer I started learning a little of Swift which is an apple app development programming language which is decently similar to python in ways, but currently I'm learning HTML which is a great place to start out at because you get to know the basics and get the feel where to start out at. After HTML I plan to continue growing those skills and learning java and javascript at some point within the next month or two. So the synopsis of what I said is basically I recommend starting at HTML and grow strong in that language and then start learning the rest cause if you don't know the basics you're going to have a hard time learning stuff ;)

    ew, html
    My biggest mistake while learning html is assuming it's a programming language. It ain't.
    Just tons of hours watching over that pixel.

    Heyyyy, HTML is, shall I say, "Lit Fam Lmao" (Inside joke) when paired with properly utilized CSS. *cough* and some java. (I have some love-hate relationship for java.)
