I think you are confusing FPS & TPS, TPS (ticks per second ) is server side so installing anything client side won't do anything. If it was FPS...

@wyndman if you connect multiple inventories to the same transfer node (max is 5 per node) you can pull out one stack into each inventory...
@dragon87tamer it would lead to people only targeting the richest player on the server. why would they go for anyone other than the person...
I'm not 100% sure if it's the same on MYM but every other server I've played on instructs their players not to put ME drives into any portable...

Also make sure what ever you are using for power and power storage is loaded as well
I've noticed the same thing, its easy enough to fix though. just make sure the chunks loaded, by either standing in it or using a chunk loader.
