A foot is a poor substitute for the meter and strangely enough is defined so 2.54 centimeters is an inch, and 0.3048 meter is equivalent to a foot. I cringe when my fellow citizens of the United States use imperial units in chat and all the foreign people have no idea what is going on in terms of units. Please use the much easier-to-work-with metric system and save us all the trouble of converting between miles and kilometers.
