Edit: Issue has been resolved. This morning I logged on to find that my account was hacked during the 10 hours that I was away from the computer. The worst part is that the username is changed and I can't access my island. I can't input an absence command either, because I apparently "don't own an island". I also can't make a ticket, because the mym website doesn't recognize me as the owner of the account. Hopefully once I'm able to change my name back, I'll have access to my island again. Inventory seems to be intact, too. I have sent an email to mojang support, but most likely they won't be able to assist me with changing my name before the regular one month requirement passes. That didn't help, MCGeek, still couldn't access my island. But no worries, Mojang came through. Faith in customer service restored.
