It´s a kitchen-sink modpack with lots of quests to help guide you in the start and to give the players goals to reach. This is not a lightweight pack Warning Nothing will be transferred over from Node 1 to this new server.
Is there any real point to the second server? I mean if people wanted to start over cant they just del the current island? Instead of wasting resources on another server why not introduce more mod packs?
A second server was implemented because of the shear number of players who want to play but can not get on due to player cap. Simply increasing the cap wouldn't help as more players would just tank server performance even more. Thus a second server was made. We recently just released a server for Enigmatica2, as well.
Yeah, I think player count numbers for stoneblock has been fairly small for the last couple of weeks, so that doesn't make much sense to me to open another server sounds more like a scripted reply rather than a truthful one, there are plenty of updated and new packs out that would have fit better into that server slot, it was a total waste of space to make a second node but that's none of my business. As for the other pack, I just didn't fancy the play style of it, but some definitely do.
Our data showed that Stoneblock's popularity warranted opening a second node. As for other servers, if you have a list of ideas or anything floating around you can always make a suggestion or if you feel like having a one-on-one discussion my Forum/Discord DMs are always open. I'm not quite sure I fully understand what you mean here. The only thing that will change with the introduction of a new node is that there will now be two different servers you can play stoneblock on MyM on. I do believe the chats for the two nodes are intertwined as well. Both nodes should be open for all players now as well.
