Hey everyone, On the 23rd all servers will be taken offline to move the database and proxy to a new server as the planned setup was canceled by the database issues last year in September. The idea was to have multiple cloud servers with the proxy and database to keep the servers available if one would go offline while reducing the costs. Unfortunately the Galera Cluster we were already using cause the database to get deleted during the migration and with all the issues we had with it in the past where it caused us more downtime than uptime we decided to no longer use it. Additionally, the proxy needed more resources than expected, forcing us to use a more powerful cloud server which meant that the planned setup would rather increase the upkeep cost than reduce it. With the migration of the databases to the new server the database will have access to more resources while also allowing other applications to be run on the server which are currently spread out on other servers which will reduce the overall upkeep cost. Starting at 9am CEST on the 23rd of April. Expected downtime: 5 hours. The expected downtime is an estimation, it can take longer if the database takes longer to import or unexpected issues arise.
Maintenance is completed, there are still some things to do but they don't require the servers to be offline. Please report any issues you encounter related to this.
