I play mostly on Agrarian Skies, and there are quite a few times that a server would go down after a scheduled restart. It'd be good if there were some staff that would be active on the IRC so we can report it faster. Also, if the IRC isn't to contact staff, what is there for? As a quote from every tab, with the exception of 'General" and "TPPI", on the Join Us page, "Note: if you still have problems join us on IRC"
IRC has always been actively used by Sirwilli. Regardless, you'll always find him on there unless he's in bed/away! I also get on IRC whenever I can, but because I've been inactive myself lately, I've not been able to, and whenever I do, I never get messages from players noting that they need help. - Teamspeak is hardly used. - IRC is hardly used - Players hesitate to message us. It's all to do with communication errors, and it's not always because we're 'inactive' Most of the time, it's always because of timezone issues.
I never see any staff on IRC when I get on there. If there were more staff on there, and if it was more widely broadcasted as a place to go for immediate problems, then players would most likely use it more. As for Team Speak, I personally never used it, but other players would have to add some input about that.
