the message I get when I try to join is Mod rejections [FMLMod:aPerf{1.7.10-1.0.@BUILD_NUMBER@}] it also says 0/52 players are on on the servers...

I see your point but with conversations it is extremely easy to invite people and has a cleaner GUI for this purpose than just tagging them.
