What java are you using? If you're using 8, you're a noob.
Spawn is rather boring.. and the fact you've commanded I stay there until the world is done (which leads me to ask, can I go out and venture yet?)

I've been testing the legendary spawns in Single player, and it doesn't seem that waiting actually helps, so I wouldn't suggest doing that...
