Because doing that is one way to corrupt your player data. Its never a good idea to put inventories inside of inventories. e.g. bags, in bags. ME...

The rest of the stuff wouldn't fit in with the pack at all in my opinion. Magic stuff would ruin the tech/sci-fi feel to the pack imo
