There was an issue when building below y 2 would crash the server. So it was a little annoying :D
So far during testing it feels a lot like an infinity expert mode with much better gating, the ages feel very well setup and give you an idea...
Not exactly something we support, but again adding more RAM to FTB ultimate may solve your issue since it is a larger pack then vanilla and crash...
