Weird... Pretty sure the limit is around 20-30 (can't remember). I do recall someone having this issue aswell from another thread.
How many mobs do you have in the same area in 3x3 chunks? I believe there is a limit to suppress any tps lag coming from creatures only.

I think that the second mode should have /home but maybe a 10 second delay to get tped? Since we have no way to get to our base other than he...
Just make autonomous activators place it and another autonomous activator breaks it.
