1.6 servers suffer from a vanish problem. Sometimes the server glitches and still sends the packets.
Sorry but we usually don't help locate graves. Unless we do like normal players and run around looking. This falls under our no refund policy....
That is a the Mojang servers having problems.
I am aware =). These will not be restored as they are hard to transfer due to modded minecraft. You should be able to plow through them again =)
