Not a problem, They changed AE a lot in 1.7.10 Facades "could" work but forge way is better
All i did was Selected my instance and it asked if i wanted to update.
You can use Forge Micro parts, Covers Strips Hollow covers You can hide all AE2 wires with it, i will come on DW20 to show you.

Also you need to remember AE2 is nothing like AE1, All AE2 blocks are multi parts and work with Forge micro/multi parts
