If you have lots of one type of mob, they will despawn. This is a known thing. Just be aware of that when making mob farms and animal farms

If you are using a 1070 it should not be set in DX9. I don't know what minecraft uses but have you tried other shaders?

As long as you aren't using it like you were before, you should be fine. In the event it crashes again, try and not use it.
